"This hotel exceeded every expectation! Just steps away from the subway, close to Fenway Park, the MGM Concert hall, and a number of unique restaurants, we were grateful we were able to leave our car at home, take the train into the city, and walk everywhere we needed to go! With a beautifully appointed, comfortable, quiet room, a friendly, courteous, helpful and professional staff second to none (special thank you to Chris!) we were amazed at how effortless everything was from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Hotel Commonwealth; we look forward to another visit in the future!"

"Great place but the noise from the concerts downtown echoes through the room till late in the night even on the 11th floor. Otherwise we loved location if you don’t need the sleep"

"The location was excellent walking distance to everything,pillows was comfortable everything seems very good except no microwave also I had a hard time to operate coffee maker. Elevator was kinda confusing to me too. Other then that everything's good would definitely coming back!"

"The hotel is conveniently located in a pleasant neighborhood, close to the subway and a 7-Eleven convenience store, while still offering a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The room is a suitable size for a solo traveler or a couple, although it may be a little small for a family trip. Although the bathroom is shared, it is clean and well maintained."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there was always someone at the door ready to greet us and help whenever needed. We stayed for a week and really appreciated that our room was cleaned every day. It seems like many hotels no longer provide daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it, so this was a really nice touch. The room was very comfortable, and we felt right at home throughout our stay. The location was fantastic. The subway station was right on the corner, which made it incredibly convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go. Fenway Park was only a 20-minute walk away, and we loved exploring Newbury Street, with all of its great shopping and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for its comfort, friendly staff, and excellent location. We would happily stay here again!"

"It was fine for people going to Gillette for games or concerts. Enough stores/restaurants nearby to get anything needed, close to highway so that’s convenient."
