"Great location to downtown Fairbanks and pickup for tours. Restaurant breakfast buffet is not good for price. Its more of a limited continental breakfast. Gift shop was closed so no access to needed amenities. Rooms are older and it shows - carpet, showers, heating/air, tv channels. The restaurant/bar staff is amazing, we ate most meals there because were appreciated them so much. The other hotel guests are mixed clientele so it can be loud and chaotic even if in your own room. We didn't sleep well at any point. "

"Our stay definitely did not meet our expectations. We selected this hotel bc it had a pool and hot tub. Willing to pay more for the hot tub. Which was not working our entire stay. Then someone else was given our room key and that took 3 times to get our keys to work again. Then the TV didn’t work for a whole day. Yes, it was snowing but it’s Alaska…. There was no snow removal, only one pass with a loader main drag during the whole snowstorm (3 days). No shoveling walkways. Could not use the bathtub; no way to stop up the drain. Got a friendly text to let front desk know any issues, which I did which were completely ignored. The pool was lovely but the “towels” were worn out HAND towels. Not even bath towels. The room was mostly clean; there was a used paper towel in the ice bucket. Premises were clean, although vacuuming the hall at 9pm was noisy. Breakfasts were nice. The little market had a good selection of items. EXCEPT any Tylenol or Advil. Nothing for a headache. Staff was pleasant. Location nice. Pillows terribly lumpy. "

"Temu bedsheets and towels, terrible quality, like sleeping in a plastic bag. Only a few hand towels, no shower towels. One of the rooms is like a closet, without electrical outlets. Late check out will cost you 50/hour, and the owner will sit in the car at the front door to make sure you leave before 11. "

"What little was available in the kitchen and bathroom were covered in grime and biofilm. We personally cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom (to the best of our ability with our limited supplies) upon arrival. We would have cleaned the floor had the mop not been visibly unusable. We resorted instead to a "the floor is lava" policy and sacrificed a pair of socks apiece.Jeff was very responsive, and accommodating to our late check-out request. We were very pleased to be able to walk to local offerings despite visiting during the off-season and a dramatic cold snap. Check-in was easy, but Vrbo supplied the wrong address (it was easy to identify the correct building from the pictures, but I hope we didn't disturb the neighbors when we arrived).We would enjoy returning to the neighborhood, but probably not to this property."
