「The apartment is in the basement above the house of the hosts. The hosts were amazing. At times you could hear footsteps above us. It didn't bother us at all. The house is located in a forest away from all the noises of Portland. The location was perfect for us since our family lives in St. Johns. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had lots of room. We will stay there again. A very positive experience.」

I recommended having a car in this area, I didn't rent a car and I was relying on Uber for my rides since it was a quick trip for me, a 1.8 mile ride cost me about $40, and I still had to wait 18 minutes for the uber to get there from 15 miles away.」

「Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!」

「Loved it. Having a dog finding a decent place to stay where they don’t put you in a gross room is hard. Whole place is dog friendly. Staff included. They gave us a doggy welcome gift with poo bags and treats. The park and out door area located behind the facility is amazing. Great place to walk your dog and for kids to play. Place is so clean and the pool area was so nice. Only negative would be it was pretty noisy til pretty late midnight with street traffic. Lots of loud mufflers. I would...
