"The Paramount is in a good location, close to many great restaurants and easy access to affordable parking and the highways. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately that’s where the good things end. Our room was filthy, the bathroom especially which was in a state of disrepair. Black mold, water damage, our toilet stopped working day one but the as quickly fixed. Our biggest challenge came from the bed however. The first night we had to request our sheets be replaced as they were soiled/stained when we turned the sheets down. The bed itself was also extremely uncomfortable. We are 2 lightweight people and the mattress was extremely lumpy and uneven, very difficult to sleep on. "

"Front desk staff was very friendly. We interacted with e different people during our stay. All were friendly and helpful. We had a room with a queen bed with a very reasonable rate. Parking was tight but was available and free. The location is sort of in a neighborhood so it was quiet but it's a close walk to several restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk to Washington Park and the Willamette River is about a mile in the other direction. It's very close to Providence Park arena. The bed was comfortable enough but the mattress sits on a metal frame and skirting. My only complaint is that the skirting was kinda loud. The hotel has an arrangement with the Japanese Garden in Washington Park so we also scored tickets to the garden. What an unexpected and appreciated surprise!"

"NO MICROWAVE OVEN IN THE ROOM. SHOWER IS RAINFALL HAS NO PRESSURE BEHIND THE WATER STREAM. THE VALET PARKING IS NOT FUNCTIONING AS IT SHOULD….VERY CUMBERSOME."

"The hotel stay was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. The exterior of the rooms were old/worn however. Most notably, although a non issue, many vegabonds/transits all near the property and intimidating to stay there."

The staff was great even though we were there to cheer on the Spurs ☺️ my wife and I loved that we didn’t have to leave the hotel at all for dinner and drinks everything was just an elevator away and delicious! Bartenders and wait staff were so attentive and kind . We won’t stay anywhere else."
