"We ended up staying at Hotel Polaris during a very stressful time after a major water leak displaced our family. I’m also recovering from surgery and needed ADA accommodations, so this could have been a difficult experience — but the staff made it so much easier for us. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, understanding, and incredibly helpful. They arranged early check-in, helped us stay in the same room for our extended visit, and regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Traveling with our son and our dog, Kaia, felt manageable because of how welcoming they were. For accessibility needs, this hotel is excellent. It’s easy to navigate with wheeled walking aids, and the ADA tub-style room feels safe and thoughtfully designed. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has huge windows with amazing views. We loved the Aviator Bar — the “Across the Universe” cocktail was a favorite — and Pamela’s restaurant is outstanding; every dish was fantastic. My husband and son also enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, which stays warm enough to swim in even when it’s freezing outside. Our dog was treated like a VIP too — easy relief areas, homemade treats at the front desk, and plenty of space to relax by the window. Most of all, every staff member we encountered was wonderful. Their kindness and care turned a really tough situation into something far more manageable. We can’t recommend Hotel Polaris enough and will absolutely suggest it to visiting family and friends."

"Breakfast could have been better fully stocked. The lines were too long and it was running out things quickly, there was no regular creamer for the coffee, only 1 waffle maker, the line for the omelets was too long because there’s only one chef besides that everything was perfect. We would like to stay again."

"We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely our stay was. The staff were friendly and abundant, always trying to be helpful. Seriously, everyone was so nice! There was one young staffer, who was pretty stern with the rule of putting in your room service order the night before strictly before 9 PM, as we tried to put our order in it 9:04 PM and it was too late. So just be sure that you put your order in the night before on time! We were still able to call in our order in the morning and it came just fine. We also had breakfast at the Grandview restaurant and our server Casey was exceptionally kind and attentive. He tried to help us figure out a couple of Vegan options as well. The views were wonderful, and the rooms were so nice in the lodge. We liked hooking up the Bluetooth to the bathroom mirror, the delicious nespresso, coffee, light up closet, warm fireplace, hot tub, which was indoors, but the glass doors were wide open which made you almost feel like you were outside. This is a great place! The staff are all truly wonderful!"

"The room was very nice but had a crease in the carpet and hair found in parts of the bathroom. I called a month before 2 weeks before one week before and the day before my check in to ask for early checkin. I was told every time it should not be an issue, they said theynwould put a note on my reservation. When i arrived early to checkin i was told the room would not be ready until closer to 4pm. It was a very frustrating situation. "
