「This hotel is located in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The rooms are charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and the bar in the evening. Nice wine selection! Its a great locattion for visiting Chatsworth House and the beautful scenery of the Peak Distict.」
「I booked a compact room usually these are very small but comfy. This was downstairs with only 1 other room close by. Spacious quiet and comfortable. Also cool which was nice as its unusually warm in Buxton. The piano playing in the lobby is a lovely touch 」

「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」
