This was by far the best place we stayed on our trip to Italy. We traveled with our kids (10 & 8) so location and convenience was important. Located in a historic building with a world of charm, this unique hotel/B&B in the heart of Florence was one of the highlights of our trip. The only better location in Florence would be insideUffizi itself or at a Medici villa. Each room is unique but beautiful with its own view of historic city. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The family style breakfast every morning is high quality and not to be missed. You will meet people from all colors of life and learn a gem or two from each one. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming exterior, there is so much history, charm, and beauty behind that wooden door. If you are here to experience Florence, can not recommend it enough.

This hotel was unlike any other! It felt like youre staying at a friend or family members house, not a hotel! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Their delicious breakfast normally starts at 8 AM, but we had an excursion planned and needed to head out by 7:15. They got started with breakfast early and made sure that we had some coffee and pastries before we needed to leave!! The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. If we come back to Florence, we will definitely be staying here again. 10/10!
