The location is perfect, the staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great. The only possible negative is the lack of an elevator. However, i have discovered that almost all bed and breakfast places in Italy have stairs, hills, and more stairs. Congratulations to the great staff. We loved our stay in Firenze!

Quaint and quiet just away fromTouristic area

We had a nice room. Old style as expected and a view of the garden in the rear. Very quiet. Staff was great and always pleasant. Bathroom was tight but servicable. Good cleanliness. Breakfast was good and not too much. Nice old Pension next to the Biboli Gardens and close to a few good restaurants and a coffee shop. 10 minute walk to the Golden Bridge and the tourist side of the river. Bus lines go by also.

Lovely big room in a fantastic old building, unfortunately, the hotel forgot to mention that the whole side of the building is clad with scaffolding and this does bloke the view into the gardens completely. Also the parking arrangement is a little daunting too, but it was all ok, you might think €30 for a night is expensive, but really, it’s not, first off think where you are, and then it took quite literally minutes for the valet to bring the car up to us outside the hotel, unmarked, approx 1km added and no damage at all, so all good. Finally, quick word regarding stairs, there’s no lift and a couple of large flights, if you have heavy cases good luck, but once you’re upstairs the architecture is stunning. On the whole, it was ok.

I booked a deluxe superior room. Hotel gave a room with a bathroom worth of a “camp shower”, toilet seat was broken, no hot water and trash was still in the shower from previous guests. The door of the room was broken and the bed/pillows were not clean. When I complained to the staff they simply said this all what you get. (I was paying 200$ per night) upon checkout they charged us for the payment claiming they “Expedia was trying to cheat both us” I took us hours to revere the payment …. Never stepping foot in this place again !

元旦去的，房间是老房子改造的，几百年了，不是模式化的普通酒店房间，没有地毯，是古旧的瓷砖。面积很大，晚上暖气基本上跟死了一样，冻的够呛。夏天住这房子应该不错。

Dommage...pas vraiment un hotel..une pension italienne...à savoir une chambre...petite.... sans vue ...une salle de bain minuscule...80 cm de large (ch 19)...... un hotel d entrée qui sert de salle de petit déjeuner...pas de vue pas d acces au parc... immeuble d epoque mais les contraintes de place minimisent cet aspect... à eviter avec une voiture... pas trop mal placé pour visiter Florence... pas facile de comprendre les commentaires des visiteurs précédents.. les photos du site prêtent à confusion (Je n arrive pas à vous transmettre les photos..dommage)

Posizionato in posizione strategica rispetto al centro, 5 min. a piedi e si arriva sul ponte vecchio, si può arrivare a piedi anche dalla stazione dei treni. L'edificio "odora" di storia ed è situato al primo piano di palazzo storico. Ottima la colazione, staff cordiale e molto pulito. Vivamente consigliato.

Um horror de hotel

Foi tão ruim que nem cheguei a me hospedar e busquei outro hotel. Tudo que está no site é uma enganação. A localização é péssima, o estado de conservação um horror. Garden view rooms are so special in busy Florence

I love the location of Hotel Annalena accross the road from the Boboli gardens and straight down the road from the Ponte Vecchio. It has old world charm and furnishings and the rooms looking over the garden are fantastic. To have a view like that And be just out of the massive crowds is priceless. The staff are lovely, the hotel and the surrounding streets are safe to walk around on your own at night with lots of local dining options and shops that you need. I have stayed at least 5 times and love it especially the balcony rooms. Great ambience and value for money. Can catch bus 11 from in front of the railway station after buying your 1.50 euro ticket around by the tram stop and get off at via Romana.

Med forventningerne om et ældre bygning med den charme som det nu bringer med sig har vi haft en fantastisk tid med en super service, og søde medarbejdere. Parkeringsforhold kan godt belyses bedre inden endelig bestilling, så der ikke opstår små overraskelser.

L'Hotel, tra l'altro posto di fronte agli incanti del Giardino di Boboli (Palazzo Pitti), conserva intatto il fascino di una storicità (non a caso porta il nome di Annalena Orsini-Malatesta, citata dal Machiavelli nelle Istorie fiorentine, alla quale fu Cosimo de'Medici donare la residenza) che poche altre strutture possono vantare.. Il personale è sempre attentissimo e disponibile per qualunque esigenza, la sala di ingresso è magnifica e le stanze conciliano funzionalità moderna e tracce di un antico passato che ha vantato la presenza di ospiti illustri quali il compositore Luigi Dallapiccola e lo scrittore Eugenio Montale, oltre ad attori celebri. La colazione è perfetta. Personalmente mi è capitata una stanza un po' piccola ma assai confortevole. So che in autunno inizieranno in parte della struttura lavori di ulteriore ristrutturazione, compreso l'inserimento dell'ascensore che eviterebbe la scalinata di un piano, comunque a gradini bassi. Dovendo soggiornare in futuro a Firenze, tornerei senz'altro all'Hotel Annalena. PdS
