Pier House Resort & Spa

"The property was well maintained and beautiful. There was a nice beach access and pleasant pool area. The pool could’ve been better maintained especially regarding the chemicals and chlorine/pH balance. There were no working outdoor showers besides one for feet so that could’ve been improved. Majority of the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Both the beach bar and one Duvall were excellent restaurants. We were very pleased with amenities that were offered. However, it is worth noting that the pier house is one of the only hotels on the island that we know of that actually has a functional beach. We did not know this prior to booking and we’re very grateful once we found out how the other side of the island was. The pier house did not have an unpleasant seaweed ocean smell and the waters were very beautiful and clear."

"Clean room, helpful staff, pool bar after a day in sun on Duval st. Parking is hard to find downtown and is $$. They have a free shuttle to get you to the waterfront!"

"The beach was closed with no warning. We booked the Southernmost “Beach” resort. No beach available. Really disappointed in not getting a heads up that this could happen."

"Loved the out door pools two on site and loved the yard amenities from shuffle board to a fun little putting green to cornhole toss the breakfast food out of the toasted coconut that is pool side was delicious. Loved the French toast it was a very thick slice of French toast. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a good price point to stay in Key West. If your planning on using the shuttle make sure you plan ahead of time since it can fill up and you will have to wait an hour for the next ride book your shuttle ride at least an hour in advance or you might have to wait 90 mins or use Lyft or uber to get downtown if your feeling like a lot of exercise just rent the bicycles and have a 30 min ride downtown"

"This is a great hotel; offering a beautiful ocean view on S Roosevelt Rd. It has a nice big pool, a tiki bar right by the pool (although there are no waiters coming by to take order - you must go and get it yourself, not a big deal, but it would be nice). The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and most importantly, very clean! Oh and the hotel offers a free shuttle to Downtown every 45mins, so that was awesome. My favorite part was being right across the river ocean sidewalk and taking long walks in the morning. I would recommend giving it a try."
