"This is a pleasant property that has been comfortably furnished. It is well equipped and spacious. There are rural views to the rear of the accommodation. The back garden is a good size, with decking, hot tub, and plenty of outdoor furniture. It’s a lovely garden to relax in. Highly recommended."

From the moment we arrived, the house was clean, tidy, and welcoming.The host was fantastic, providing excellent communication and helpful voice notes on how to use the house features. They even checked in shortly after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed."

"Holiday was excellent. West Mersea is beautiful. Just a little more detail to cleanliness. A bistro table at the front would be perfect so we could sit outside. Restaurants just a walk away and food excellent."

"The house was small and cosy, with a view of the sea from main bedroom. Garden was big, but a shared one with the house you go past to gain access to the property( also there appears to be a small dog that lives there). It was clean and had the necessary equipment required.On a lovely day the front door was left open for a breeze to come through off the sea which was so relaxing."

"When I first walked in, I loved it as it was a boat and I’ve never stayed on a house boat before. Communication when I booked was excellent and we checked in early. Upstairs was grey but downstairs (beds) was dark and smelt damp. There was no main TV control, used the TV buttons but couldn’t adjust the sound. No full length mirror nor a mirror in the bathroom so I did my make up looking at the toaster. The inside windows and tables were dirty, blind was broken but the main thing was the “security”… Anyone can walk up to the boat and stare through the windows at the front through the (eye level) windows as they aren’t covered. My partner had to leave early and it really worried me as I couldn’t even cover them with anything as there wasn’t even hooks etc. the main bedroom downstairs smelt, the light fell on me so we took the duvets up the very narrow stairs and slept on the sofas. Lovely area, unique place to stay. "
