9/10 Wonderful! (7,548 reviews)
Room: B
The hotel room was a decent size with 2 queen beds and a little sitting area with a couch. The bed was a little firm to my liking and my wife noticed the left side had a little dip. The air conditioning was a little loud, but luckily we are heavy sleepers. The TV only had a few channels but we didn’t really spend a lot of time in the room. It was comfortable enough for a few nights stay.
Amenities: A
The toiletries were standard, the gym was small (weights maxed at 50lbs, cardio machines, and a broken cable machine), and the pool was nice for when the sun came out briefly. Parking is a bit tight if you have a tall car so make sure it’s under 6ft. Very average I would say for most of the amenities. BUT the best part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. A FULL breakfast - bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, bagels, pastries, deli meats, fruits, granola, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, juices, several milk choices, and even toasters for the bagels/bread - made it worth it. Not having to worry about feeding my family in the morning made it so much easier to start our day off right. That alone made my overall stay a good one.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (26 reviews)
A fantastic return for a San Francisco icon
We recently stayed for three nights at the newly reopened Huntington Hotel on Nob Hill, and we’re delighted to say it has been well worth the wait.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, combining comfort with understated luxury, and the gym is one of the best hotel fitness facilities we’ve used. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, with exceptional service throughout our stay. A special thank you to the Head Concierge and the reception team, who were friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful.
The location is superb. Perched on Nob Hill, it’s perfectly placed for exploring San Francisco while providing a peaceful retreat away from the busier tourist areas.
Our only disappointment was breakfast for children in the on-site restaurant. The options felt quite limited, with no cereal available and the menu generally not appearing to have been designed with younger guests in mind. It’s a small point, but one that could make a big difference for families.
That aside, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It’s wonderful to see this Nob Hill institution back where it belongs, and we wish the entire team every success.
In our opinion, this is now the best hotel in San Francisco, and we look forward to returning.
