"Sa situation extraordinaire qui donne directement sur l’artère principale Didouche Mourad, on peut s’y promener jusqu’à la grande poste et sites historiques où c’est pas mal animée. It is named after marabout (patron saint of the city) Sidi Abd-er- rahman-et-Thalbi (1387-1471), hence the Thaalibiya name. It has served as a school of islamic law, general islamic school for muslim children and as a mosque. The view with the sea and white multistoreyed appartement houses with blue windows is the essence of Algiers to me.

"The hotel was modern with the room being clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the busy road at the front of hotel. Reception were very helpful and quickly moved me to another room at the back of the hotel for the second night of my stay."
