「This is our second time staying in The Clearing. It's one of our all-time favorite stays. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We could live in this comfortable house. It's charming and well-appointed with everything you'll need. The bed is comfortable. Sit on the screened-in porch and look at the mountain in the distance. Read a book or go for a hike. If you're here in the summer, swim in the large pool. That was a treat on our first stay. This time we were here for Smith College's...

「Loved everything about the caboose. Immaculately clean and the attention to detail. The only problem is the beds. They have the old metal springs which one of the most uncomfortable and painful sleeping experiences of my life. Maybe ok for little kids but not a person in their 50’s. We ended up sleeping in the 2 chairs. Area did not have too much but I did love watching the functional trains across the back area. I would give my review 5 stars except for the beds.」

「From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely.
