"Stayed for a long weekend, excellent location and friendly reception and bar staff. Small standard rooms, clean and well supplied with quality toiletries. Nice selection for breakfast and lots of options for coffee and teas. Evening bar staff at Haxells excellent choice of cocktails and friendly with all guests making the stay relaxed and enjoyable."

"Everything was just fine. Great as a bed for the night. Room was clean but very basic. Breakfast was fine - hot buffet food could have been hotter. Staff were friendly enough. It was a very average short stay. Nothing special. Certainly wouldn't want to stay here for a week or as part of a holiday."

"Comfortable stay, small room, hotel could definitely do with a lot of updating, don't think it has been done since the 70s,. Bedroom was small but comfortable and clean. Selling point is definitely the location. 2 minutes walk to 2 tube stations with direct tubes to central London, but still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Would stay again. "

"The location is ok as the access to the underground is minimal. The restaurant service staff is good, however the room wasn't as clean as expected. You can't forget to bring your slippers to walk around the room. There are musty smell in some areas, no easy for someone with respiratory allergies. "
