「Quirky accommodation..food and facilities great but the hot tub was too cold to use so we were disappointed we couldn't use it as was the main reason I booked the shepherds hut..otherwise would book again」

「Achtet bei der Buchung genau auf die Wahl des Zimmers. Wir hatten in unserem Zimmer kein Fenster. Dazu war das Zimmer direkt neben dem gemeinschaftsraum mit offenem Kamin (Tack Room). Das zweite Bett war leider auch sehr durchgelegen und ich habe die Federn gespührt. Der Check in ist nur von 16 bis 18 Uhr. Das Frühstück, das Anwesen an sich und die Betreiber sind Tip top. Trotz der Lage ist es sehr ruhig.」

「Lovely full English breakfast plus cereals, toast, fruit and yogurts if you want. The food was good quality and tasty both at breakfast and our meal in the bar the previous evening. The room was clean, the shower was hot and quite powerful, the beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking too. Would definitely look to stay here again if in the area」

「The hotel was lovely. We were greeted cheerfully and told the breakfast times and reminded not to forget our room key when going out as the room door once shut can only be opened with a key. Our room was very spacious, a really comfortable bed and a nice sized bathroom. There were also sufficient coat hangers in the wardrobe. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room. Breakfast provided a good choice of hot and cold food and the staff were lovely. The reception is manned from 8am...

「This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again 」

「I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...
