「夜間のホテル探しは困難で、地元の人にEXIT４０を出れば、ホテルの看板が見えると教えてもらった。昼間は高速道路からホテルの看板が少し見られる。２３時に到着したが、夜間遅くまで受付しているのが有り難い。受付の方は親切。据え置きのコーヒーがあったが、新しく入れたのでどうかと言われた。部屋の隅にホコリが貯まっているのが残念。シャワーヘッドの形状で以前のホテルがホリデーインだったのが分かった。朝食は問題なし。宿泊翌日の土曜日に地元のイチゴ祭りがあったが、普通のアメリカの春祭り。イチゴの販売はなく、イチゴは手作りのイチゴショートケーキ（２ドル）のみだった。」

「I could sit on the porch forever. There is a wonderful bubbling stream 10 yards in front of the tiny home which is nestled at the foot of a mountain ridge and surrounded by old growth trees. Nearby Erwin provides easy-to-get-to groceries and supplies as well as The Groovy Smoothie. Just 15 minutes across the North Carolina border you find Mars Hill which has some very nice restaurants. The tiny home was just as advertised. The host, Jennifer, made sure I was content throughout the stay.」

「We ( my spouse, me, and our dog) had a lovely stay over Christmas. Chuck and Valda were wonderful hosts and Chuck graciously helped two city folks with building an outdoor fire. Our dog loved lounging on the deck and we had everything we needed to cook a few holiday meals. 10/10! 」

「The mountain location with a nearby creek was exceptional. The fresh air, starry skies, and true quiet was rejuvenating. We will also miss the owner’s dog Robel; she was so sweet. 」

「This place is cozy feeling, but plenty of space for everyone to be doing different activities. It’s in a great location, in wooded area with deer and other wildlife. But it’s not too far for going out and enjoying Johnson City! Julie was easy to communicate with, quick response's. We really enjoyed this place and would be back again! 」

「This was the most beautiful stay. The creek running through the property was so calming while sitting in the sparkling hot tub. Clean and hot just as expected. The cabin was hard to leave. It’s a great get away and I can only hope to live in a similar setting one day. Thank you for the stay and friendly communication. We will return and refer any friends who may be staying in the area. 」

「Glamping Retro is such a beautiful place to stay. I felt calm and at home as soon as we pulled into the property. We stayed in the Jungalow Airstream and it was perfect. Actually a bucket list item I can now check off. we’d like to return and bring multiple generations of our family. We know they’d like the tents and tree house. And playing in the field and creek. 」
