「夜間のホテル探しは困難で、地元の人にEXIT４０を出れば、ホテルの看板が見えると教えてもらった。昼間は高速道路からホテルの看板が少し見られる。２３時に到着したが、夜間遅くまで受付しているのが有り難い。受付の方は親切。据え置きのコーヒーがあったが、新しく入れたのでどうかと言われた。部屋の隅にホコリが貯まっているのが残念。シャワーヘッドの形状で以前のホテルがホリデーインだったのが分かった。朝食は問題なし。宿泊翌日の土曜日に地元のイチゴ祭りがあったが、普通のアメリカの春祭り。イチゴの販売はなく、イチゴは手作りのイチゴショートケーキ（２ドル）のみだった。」

「Great peaceful place to stay prior to my son’s graduation from ETSU! Beautiful grounds and hospitable owners. Even provided a delicious homemade treat!! I would love to return!!」

「This place was so nice and clean! Brand new appliances and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It is on the outside of town, but still convenient to a grocery store and Dollar General (both less than10 minutes).」

「I could sit on the porch forever. There is a wonderful bubbling stream 10 yards in front of the tiny home which is nestled at the foot of a mountain ridge and surrounded by old growth trees. Nearby Erwin provides easy-to-get-to groceries and supplies as well as The Groovy Smoothie. Just 15 minutes across the North Carolina border you find Mars Hill which has some very nice restaurants. The tiny home was just as advertised. The host, Jennifer, made sure I was content throughout the stay.」

「Love the house and property, it was very relaxing and within driving distance to downtown Asheville which is our favorite place. Definitely recommend! Only thing I would suggest is advising of the other tiny houses on the property a little more clearly. We didn’t realize it wasn’t just the one house, still HIGHLY recommend! 」

Perfect place to relax also conveniently located to Erwin and Asheville. Absolutely awesome hosts with a genuine concern we had the best experience possible. 」

「We met Janet as we were 'moving in'. She was helpful and said to contact her if we needed anything. The home was clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and snacks were available. The home was decorated very nicely. The front yard had curb appeal and the backyard was lovely. For our purposes, the location was in the middle of the towns we needed to visit. 「If plan on paddling the Nolichucky Gorge, this is the place to stay! Just 4 miles to the take out and plenty of covered porch space to dry out your gear. Showers were great and beds were comfy. Great place!」

「The cabin is roomy with a nice kitchen, living room, TV room, and a game area to hang out. There is plenty of parking and wonderful outdoor space. It has a great front porch for morning and evening reading. I would definitely stay here again. 」

「There were no windows I the living space; however, this could not be helped. The furniture in the living are needs improvement. The sofa sinks so low, standing is difficult, the chair too stiff. Basically the apartment was furnished like a dorm room with furniture of marginal quality. The location is great located in downtown.」
