「Very nice area near plenty of nice things to do and see. Comfortable and clean as well.」

「We spent a week with our young daughter, and we made the best choice to stay here. The house has plenty of space--a huge kitchen--and is very clean (there are also cleaning supplies provided--especially important if you have a crumb-dropping kid--as well as many other supplies. ). We really miss sitting on the porch watching the horses across the road.」

「We enjoyed a calm weekend near wine country. The house was comfy and had what we needed for a simple vacation. Luckily the weather cooperated and we were comfortable with open windows and fans on. It may have been a bit stuffy if we were there later in the spring or in the summer. I’m sure it’s a cozy spot in the winter too!!」

「Nice, quiet and comfortable place close to things we wanted to see. A/C worked great. Views on the river are beautiful. We slept well. As others have mentioned, there are inside stairs which have slightly shallow steps. If you have normal mobility & strength you will be okay. Just something to note. We were fine with the stairs. Host is responsive and helpful. Would stay again and recommend. 」

「This rental was the perfect home base for our four-day hiking trip—ideally located near both Minnewaska State Park and New Paltz. We were pleasantly surprised that the space was ready earlier than expected. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was an ideal setup for two friends, with private bedrooms and plenty of shared space to relax after days outdoors. A truly great find—grab it if it’s available!」

「We had a great time at the red barn retreat. It’s close to many great restaurants and hikes. The host was very communicative and gave great recommendations. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The house was clean and check in was a breeze. 」

「This was an excellent place and location for our girls trip. We went to Mohonk Mountain House, FDR’s house in Hyde Park, Hudson River Walk, and shopped and ate near the house in New Paltz. The host was so helpful and the house was perfect with all the supplies you’d need. We brought yoga mats but to our surprise they had some there! The backyard view was stunning too! Highly recommend. 」

「The 2 bedroom house was right on the river and was easy to enjoy with the fire pit on the property. The back patio had a great time view as well. Inside everything was clean and well appointed. I was very pleased with our stay here. It's about 30 minutes to the closest town of any size though,.so plan ahead with groceries,.etc. 」
