This is a wonderful property. Very clean and well maintained. It was centrally located to everything we needed. The outdoor area is amazing! We really enjoyed sitting by the river and having coffee in the morning

Simply Outstanding.We spent an early September weekend at Kelly’s, and regretted not staying another night. Kelly was quick to respond to our queries, generous to allow an early check-in. we were just in time to catch a beautiful sunset on the Wallkill river. The house has a perfect balance of being located in a residential neighborhood, but with a very private backyard which is the highlight of this property. We spent hours by the fire pit and on the patio taking in the scenery. A variety of wildlife passed by: we saw geese landing on the river waters at sunset, groundhogs and squirrels running about the backyard and deer come by to graze and take a nap under the big tree by the river. The house itself was impeccably clean, perhaps recently renovated and fully stocked for a very comfortable stay (we are pretty sure the owner asked ‘what would we need if we were to stay in this house?’). The house has everything from first-aid kits, a wide collection of spices, coffee, full sets of cooking utensils, cutlery, laundry supplies, plenty of towels, tools to get fire-pit going and knickknacks that one wouldn’t typically expect at such a property. The backyard gets a little dark after sunset, but this could be to avoid attracting bugs. We were a few minutes late in leaving the property and the cleaners were also very accommodating and waited patiently for our departure. Overall, a do-not-miss experience a couple hours away from NYC and one we cannot wait to visit again.

River view/ peaceful setting

The 2 bedroom house was right on the river and was easy to enjoy with the fire pit on the property. The back patio had a great time view as well. Inside everything was clean and well appointed. I was very pleased with our stay here. It's about 30 minutes to the closest town of any size though,.so plan ahead with groceries,.etc.

Little Retreat for Legoland

Our little family stayed at this quaint house during a trip from Brooklyn for a visit to Legoland. We found charming restaurants very close by, we loved watching sunsets over the river each night and even tried our hand at fishing. The house was perfectly laid out for my husband and I and our son to have separate spaces, but not be too far from each other and it was well equipped with board games, outdoor games, and easy access to every streaming app. The beds were comfy. There were tons of pillows and blankets. Really everything you would need for a weekend away!

Spectacular home & location

Beautiful home. Perfect location & nice neighborhood. Quiet. River added to the beauty. Spacious. Safe. Lovely kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bath. Will book it again next time we visit. Thank you very much!

Short stay with family

Overall our stay was great. The place is very clean and the rooms look like the pictures. The listing is listed as an entire house but there is another unit attached to the house. There was a unit above us and to the side of us. With 4 children I knew we would have moments that it would be loud and I didn’t like that I knew other people shared walls with us. I specifically booked it because it is listed as a whole house. Additionally the deck in the pictures has furniture but there is currently no furniture. When I contacted the host she said they were waiting on new furniture to arrive, which is great for the future renters but not us. We had planned on sitting on the deck after the kids went to bed. The host said we could bring up chairs from the basement which didn’t interest us. There are multiple cameras in the backyard. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We understand hosts needing cameras for renters but it seemed excessive.

Wallkill Paradise

50th Birthday Bash

We had a great stay. The house was clean and met all our needs. We used the fire pit on Friday, used the back lawn for yoga on the river bank and lunch on the porch. The keyless entry was great for ins and outs for our group.

Perfect rental for us!

Kelly was on top of it all…from initial check in to check out! Really appreciated the prompt communication and being so accommodating! This rental was clean, great location for hiking, biking and all we needed!! We loved hanging out by the fire pit and down by the river. The view and location is perfect. Thanks for everything…we will be back!

Lovely Spot

The house is delightful. Very comfortable and well stocked with all you need for a weekend at the river. We enjoyed our stay. Only negative was gunshots at 6AM on a Sunday morning. I assume they were goose hunting but this seems strange given the residential nature of the home. Thanks to our hosts!

Weekend Girls Trip

This was our 2nd time staying her and overall we love the place! Only downside is that we wish that the outdoor deck was better maintained and that the host provided citronella candles etc to combat all the bugs vs us having to buy our own for the house.

Oasis upstate

My friend and I did 2 days of hiking and antique shopping upstate and found this lovelyhome that was perfect for our stay. We lived the peaceful backyard and found the host super accommodating abs the house very clean. Thank you!

Perfect Stay

We did a moms and teens two day get away. We had so much fun! Everyone loved the fire pit. The kids had fun with the board games and play room down stairs. We cooks some nice meals the kitchen was well stocked with pans and plates, salt and seasoning. There was even olive oil. We hope to do it again next year!

Relaxing

Home was very clean, beds were comfortable and linens were soft and clean. Family and I had a very good time, we wanted a relaxing weekend and we got it. Kelly responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Kelly's home.
