「Hate to say it, but the old girl is looking tired. I've stayed here several times over the years and it's declined each year. I'm sure the maintenance on a place on the river is tough but.....」

「A second great stay. There is just no view like it. Facing the river and having the ships pass in front and seeing the lights of the other shore and the castle is just magical. I tried the pool this time and it was nice. Coffee maker in room as well as brewed coffee in lobby was helpful. Food nearby was good. I recommend this hotel.」

「I never like to put down a place that's "trying". This location is on the water and very close to all activities (downtown) so that's a plus. The office was very responsive to needs/problems ... and friendly. Price was a bit high to us, but maybe not for this location. The unit (attached cabin) was NOT spectacular. Lots could be improved. If you have the money ... stay elsewhere. If not, this is a good base for seaway cruises, etc.」
