"Fantastic trip to Montgomery made even better by staying here. Joan was so kind and accommodating, and made such a delicious breakfast every morning. We felt very at home, it was like staying with family & we were sad to leave! Our room was very comfortable, the location is beautiful, as is the house, with such an interesting history. Watching the birds, chipmunks and groundhogs was an added bonus! We can't say enough about what a great stay we had, we would come back in a heartbeat."

"This property and listing was perfect for our men's retreat weekend getaway. We gathered together and enjoyed being able to spread out in the spacious home. It was very close to a local park with a pool, basketball court, and open field. We also enjoyed grilling on the patio and using the fire-pit to roast s'mores in the evening. "This place was just what we needed. On a small lake (nieghbor hood), but still felt secluded because of large yard and dock to lake. Fireplace was amazing, but baseline heat was set too high and thermostat didn’t seemed to work well (too warm). Kitchen worked well, but was hard to find everything (large plates), so directions or labels would be nice. Overall super cute old school cabin feel with some modern updates. The owner was super nice and checked in and responsive!"
