「So much potential with this one! The cabin was brand new and beautiful. So was the bathhouse. Property is on a busy road with cars and motorcycles zipping by until the late hours. Property manager did not send confirmation until 20 minutes after check in time, I was on the road and couldn’t respond and by the time I got there and realized there was no cell service. 「My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.」

「Great place, very much as advertised. About 40 minutes from Virginia Tech. Very peaceful and beautiful, particularly in morning and evening. Can be hard to find, but the directions in the welcome email were good. We expect to visit again. Our dog really loved it too. 」

「We visited our children at VT for the weekend. The drive was a bit further than we would have liked but the house was worth it. We enjoyed the fire pit and having coffee on the back porch each morning. It was so peaceful and so beautiful. We would go back. 」

「A very nice house to stay for the weekend, it was clean and had a wonderful view. Walking down to the river was not bad but I would recommend the host really fix up a trail/path down that hill. 「We loved staying in this cabin. Not only is it by a river (a huge plus for us) but it is roomy. Inside, the kitchen is great: stove, microwave full-size refrigerator, plenty of dishes & flatware, pots & pans, dishwasher, and spices.
