Time to Unwine-Waterfront Cabin w/Hot Tub! Pet Friendly! Blue Ridge Parkway
Beautiful cabin, spotlessly clean sleeps 1-4 and has a HOT TUB on the front porch, just outside the master bedroom. We are just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and our cabin is PET FRIENDLY (well-behaved dogs only!) Come stay at “Time to Unwine,” and enjoy the wonderful views, stocked fishing pond, fire pit with wood, free wifi/internet, the cool mountain weather, and all of the nearby activities. This cabin has all of the modern amenities. Our master bedroom features a queen-size memory foam mattress. Our loft bedroom is roomy and cozy and accessible by an interior ladder. We provide Keurig coffee maker, crockpots for easy cooking, and nice updated cookware.
The cabin includes a full kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Our living room has a flat screen television and a stone fireplace (gas logs). Outside, enjoy our spacious front covered deck with picnic table, fishing gear, Adirondack chairs around a firepit with provided wood, and pond view! There is a permanent outdoor charcoal grill right outside the door.
Travel to nearby Buffalo Mountain for a breathtaking Piedmont view hike, ride gravel or mountain bikes on the New River Trail (a 57-mile rail-to-trail starting in Galax, VA). Or, just sit on the covered front porch that overlooks the well-stocked pond and listen to the quiet.
The cabin is located 15 minutes away from Mount Airy, NC (‘Mayberry’ from the Andy Griffith Show), 20 minutes from Galax, VA, and 30 minutes from Chateau Morrisette Winery. There are numerous local restaurants, breweries, and wineries - often with live bluegrass music! Recently completed, “It’s 5 O'Clock Here” is our second cabin. This cabin can be rented dually to accommodate larger families or groups. Contact us for details.
The cabin is less than 1/10 of a mile from Wellness Pursuits, and they offer yoga and fitness classes in a rural mountain setting.
While driving to the local wineries, stop by the local cherry, grape, apple and peach orchards, all within 15-30 minutes. Check out Mount Airy, NC, Andy Griffith's hometown Mayberry, and a great, thriving small town that is fun to visit!
This is a family-operated vacation home from the cabin detailing to the rental bookings. We are all proud of this home and want each and every guest to enjoy their stay. We do allow dogs and the area is dog friendly. We just ask for you to look after the cabin like it is yours. The property was a great like tiny home. It had all the essentials and even extras. Far enough from town to be quiet and cozy, yet close enough for shopping and restaurants
Neat cabin with loft, lots of wood, nicely decorated and landscaped. A charming place to get away from it all.
Cabin is equipped with all necessities and even has a porch swing!
From the quaint nature of this cabin, to the view from the hot tub our stay was amazing. My husnand and I honeymooned here for just under a week and we were able to rest and recoup from the wedding frenzie. We are definetly going to be planning a trip back soon.
Good property, nice location and amenities, but the cabin got hot after we made a big meal the final day and the wifi and a bit spotty, but overall solid 4.5/5 star place to stay!
Had a great two night stay. We were able to check out Mt. Airy and Floyd. Enjoyed the hot tub and caught a few bass in the pond. We will be back again.
We have stayed and multiple places as we visit National Parks. We also like to plan getaways to celebrate faamily birthdays. This has been by far the most relaxing experience, stress free experience. The cabin was well stocked and taken care of. Communication was great and instructions for any question you may have was at our disposal. The owners provided suggestions for activities in the area, which was great! A wonderful place to stay!
We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The cabin was perfect for two adults and our dog. Everything was very clean and provided for. Our only notes are the outside grill needs replacing, otherwise excellent stay!
This was a perfect place for us to stay for our daughter’s wedding in Ararat, NC. We were able to totally relax here! The cabin was extremely clean and well decorated, right down to the cabinet knobs! The hot tub was wonderful and worker perfectly! The view from the porch swing was stunning and we drank our coffee there every morning. We totally enjoyed our visit and hope to return for a longer stay!
My husband and I were wanting a few days to relax, and we did just that! This was the first trip we have been able to take our dog, and I am so glad we could! The cabin is very clean and cute! There are neighbors, but the area is very quiet and peaceful.
A perfect spot for us and our dog. Sit on enclosed porch and see purple martins working hard feeding their babies. Pond visible from porch and geese flew in and out daily. Loved the flowers as I garden all the time. We visited/hiked four state parks and had a blast.
