Claytor Lake is always my go-to spot when I'm feeling homesick in college. Growing up on Long Island has made me a bit of a waterbug so when I'm away at school I need to take trips to local lakes and rivers so I can float around again.

「The building is fairly new so everything is up to date. Every area especially our room was very clean. The bed was over the top comfortable. I have a bad back and normally hotel beds kill me. The shower is large enough if your spouse wanted to join there wouldn't be any issues. Food was not a continental breakfast. Pastries and waffles didn't cut it. Got breakfast out. But like I said everything else was 5 stars」

「My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.」
