「Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!」

「What a gem of a spot! Serene lake views with sunrise and sunset colors. Kayaking across a lake like glass. Watching turtles pop up and herons fly across. A cozy cabin with a little hot tub to sit in while you relax and look at the view. There are great hikes near by. We highly recommend the Garden of the Gods observation trial and Ferne Clyffe. 」

「The property is amazing. We had a lot of fun hanging together with the kids enjoying nature. The only issues was the pin on the map is not accurate at all. I've always used it in the past the time took us down a very scary road that i thought we would get stuck.」

「Everything was neat and well organized. Lighting outside was very well done, and the pictures do not do it justice. Very peaceful and quiet area. Inside was all modern appliances and furniture. Very clean. The closed in porch area was nice to keep you out of the rain with a good view also. 」

The home was perfect for our gathering but perhaps the most perfect part of the home was the yard and the creek!! Southern Illinois held so many hiking and waterfall adventures. I’d highly recommend checking out so many hidden gems in America!!」
