ポープ郡 ホテル

「It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river.」

「The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.」

「This is an amazing property and unique experience. It is “off the grid” in a sense, but had everything we needed and was clean. Friendly staff and very cool antique decor. Definitely recommend!」

「Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.」

「Really great spot, great use of space. Cozy. A lot little extras made our time even better.」

「Definitely will come back A+++ . Hot tub was perfect but definitely needs a umbrella for day time soaks. Shawnee is a beautiful place to relax with Nature.」

「Hosts were very nice and attentive. We’re going to stay here again—an underrated property and location. I have a lot of great pics to share. 」

「Loved our room. Very clean. Everything well stocked with anything we may need. Even a flashlight-if needed. Spacious room to spread out. Loved the option of having a golf cart to ride around in. However, you should make more trails to drive around on. Communication was excellent. Plus, it was nice and quiet to be in Nature to get grounded again. Will love to stay again next year! Thank you for everything.」

「San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows and just the right size. The fridge, microwave and stove are all new and we had all the utensils we needed. Good fireplace. The back area is very scenic. But be CAREFUL. Remember the back is a cliff. Our dog leaped off the cliff chasing a squirrel and plummeted about 200 feet. He's alive but in bad shape. The...

「Great little getaway! If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing weekend this is definitely it. Pictures don’t do this place justice, and everything is extremely well taken care of and maintained. Make sure to bring your fishing pole and swimming gear, the clean pond is ideal for both. Traveled here with my wife and our two boys, 10yo and 5mo, and it was just right for us. We’ll be back, thanks for an amazing stay!」

「Everything was great! We will definitely be returning.」

「Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it.」

「Great place to stay before dropping my daughter off at camp! There was a restaurant three doors down with live music and good food that was icing on the cake.」

「Great river views. Nice and quiet.」

「Needs better beds and some furniture for the living room. The beds we very uncomfortable.」

「Great time with grandkids」

「We had a lovely relaxing trip. Our main focus was hiking but due to a heatwave we had to switch to early morning walks and more relaxing. It was cooler in the evening and the hot tub was the perfect place to star gaze. The screened in porch was great for breakfast. Space is limited for gourmet meals but simple meals are very doable. The listing does note the bed is in the loft and you have to climb to it. This is true, but I’m a mobile 50 year old and was able to do it easily. My only negative...
