"It was quaint."

"This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area....

"Unique cabin situated in a quiet, beautiful location. We used the cabin as basecamp to explore the Shenandoah NP and surrounding area. Owner was very helpful with lots of tips on what to do and where to go. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

I booked this cabin explicitly for the hot tub on the deck - for my husband. He has back issues & after our 7 hour drive, he needed it. I checked with the owner a few days before to make sure the hot tub would be operational and he said yes it would. Then, a day or so later he told me that the "backup" hot tub was in place.
