「The motel is a classic 2-story with outside entrances. Our room has been renovated and had a tub/shower rather than shower only. It also had mid size refrigerator/freezer which was great as it refrozen our cooler bottles. One negative was the weeds in the pavement cracks, but I saw this on many near-by properties. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The HVAC was relatively quiet. I took a long walk and felt safe in the area.」

「The room was okay. Seemed to have been recently remodeled, although it would have been nice to have things like extra counter space in the bathroom and hooks for towels, etc. You're in the woods so expect some bugs/spiders to make their way into the room. The bed was okay... maybe a little stiff but everyone has their own preferences. The comforter on the bed wasn't great though, one of those thin polyester or whatever things (probably easier for staff to clean). The AC in the room worked well...

「The motel is a historic building which in 1929 was a boardinghouse which now has been renovated to a hotel. The room is newly remodeled and had a spacious remodeled bathroom, which we appreciated. There was freshly brewed coffee, granola bars, apples and a variety of tea in the lobby in the morning.」

「The hotel location is beautiful, and the outdoor seating area overlooking the lake is amazing. It would be even better if they added more outdoor seating, as it's a great place to relax. We stayed in a King Room with a sofa bed, which was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is decent but can be better. Parking is spacious and convenient. One thing I was not satisfied with was the check-in experience. Although we had booked a room with a lake view, which was very important...
