「Super family and a great place to land after Busch Gardens」

「Loved the property, our sixth time staying at the Colonies. Some minor maintenance needed, including a good and thorough pool cleaning, but aside from that, our stay was perfect!」

「Breakfast was decent each day with selection of carbs, eggs, turkey and pork sausage, etc. Coffee machine was scalding hot though. Clean and comfortable beds, site maintained, would stay again!」

「Two considerations for our choice was the pool and the breakfast offered. The pool was closed during our stay. A nice breakfast buffet was shown on the site, but it, too, was closed during our stay leaving only packaged snack bars and coffee available. Fortunately there was a McDonalds just across the parking lot.」

「We enjoyed our stay. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating. However, we found several area needingvattention. It was inconvenient to ask for buckets of ice to keep our indoor food and drink cold. I appreciate the Wedmore in keeping with the historic theme but a small fridge and coffee maker hidden somewhere in the room would have been nice. The property, although clean, could use a maintenance staff. The shower head fell off on the first day. Sprinkler heads not trimmed and...

「We arrived on check in day about 15 min before check-in the guy behind the desk informed my husband and I that we had to wait till 3pm. We said ok he proceeded to make us wait until 3:20 before he would finally check us in. We didn’t say anything just let it go. We booked a king non smoking room. We entered the room to have it reek of cigarette dirty walls old badly damaged furniture. Bathroom was sadly no better mold cracked tiles toilet seat looked like it was recycled from the trash damage...

「I had to wait for check in over 20 minutes in the lobby with noone coming out to see if I needed help. There was stairs to carry and climb to get to a room located in a odd place. The room looked nothing like the photos. The covers where stained. The curtains to the patio where gross. Roaches ran the walls. The one chair in the room was dirty. We left at 5:30 am because it was that nasty. When we told them that roaches was on the walls, the acted nonchalant and stated we will look into that. Not...

「Clean cabin and nice staff members. I didn't like that we didn't have the pillows and the comforters ( but got informed about it before the trip ). Our cabin was by the railway so it was super loud, I couldn't sleep. The bathroom is not connected to the cabin ( and I also knew about it before coming to the place). My husband said the men's bathroom smelled absolutely horrible. 」

「My husband and I booked a stay at the Suburban Williamsburg, Virginia for the dates of June 18-21 2026. When we arrived to check in our room was not ready. We left and then came back to check in and our room still was not available. When we finally checked in the room, the bathroom had mold in the tub and it was dirty.
