「I enjoyed the space and accommodation. I was a bit overrun by large black ants, lady bugs and a few wasp. Constantly killing and sweeping. The lodge restaurant and pavilion were enjoyable.」

「Very nice clean cabin, with a great view from the top of the mountain. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. It is somewhat remote from any shops and restaurants, so plan your trips accordingly. We enjoyed the quiet mornings, fun family day trips (Lurray Caverns, hiking and driving Skyline Drive), and peaceful evenings. The host will introduce you to the horses and allow you to pet and feed them (with supervision).」

It is remote, but we loved how secluded it felt with plenty of hiking and vineyards only 30 - 45 minutes away. The property itself makes it feel like camping but with all the amenaties of home. Maybelle’s right down the street was very convenient for fueling up and grabbing whatever we needed/forgot back home. Thank you for a lovely stay!」
