All attractions (Crystal Bridges Museum, The Peel Museum & Botanical Gardens, Compton Gardens & Arboretum, Osage Park, Walmart Museum) I visited & the downtown were within a 15 minute drive and there were good restaurants & coffee bars close by (The Buttered Biscuit, Kennedy Coffee). 「Stayed in Cabin #11 overlooking the mountainside full of fall foliage to the southern horizon. Both afternoons we sat (napped) outside next to the porch soaking up the late October sunshine. Room was spacious, shower hot & large. Mini fridge was nice to keep the bevies cold! Enjoyed the lodge’s quietness & location to the Historic Downtown (5min). Hiked Black Bass Lake (all 3 trails) down the road just around the corner from Lodge. Hung out in the room after dinners & never felt cramped. ...
