「If you’re looking for a private, quiet, peaceful getaway, with very limited Internet or wireless service, then this place is for you. It was beautiful, serene, and calming. 「This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.」

「View was spectacular from cabin 41. Lots of birds. Nice and cool with a lovely breeze in morning and evening. Internet was very spotty and poor cell service so be prepared for that. Cabin is plain but super clean and the price is right. Would definitely return」

「The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

「Not as advertised!Double wide outdated trailer. Clean, hot water and heat fine, quiet setting. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were not usable. My bathroom needed at least shampo and a hairdryer. The nice deck is a .4 mile walk. Nice views of hills but no rocky mountains! Upgrading pillows and bedding would be a plus!We made it work but disappointed. 」

「The little cottage in Medina was very clean, cozy and a nice hub away from the busy! Busy meaning lots of people. The road itself was busy with motorcyclist enjoying the area which was nice to see. Hosts were very responsive, kind and generous. Space is pet friendly and we enjoyed taking walks down thru town and the neighborhood.」

The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens).
