「Nice and quiet location, very quaint. It’s inside Sweet Briar’s college grounds, which on a busy day requires registration at the entry security gate, no issues there, just a quick checkpoint for college traffic safekeeping we learned. The Inn itself is well maintained for an older building. However age is not an issue, all standard hotel amenities are up to date. While this area is very convenient for the college, our destination was the town of Lynchburg, which worked well for our stay. All in...

「Clean rooms, a littler small but very comfortable and prepared with all things you may need. The staff very friendly. Parking accessible. I recommend for sure. 」

「The food was fresh and delicious. Brenda and Kevin made our stay the perfect getaway!」

「Beautiful location. Wonderful hosts that communicated well. The large screened porch with the view and sound of the river was exactly the peace we hoped to enjoy. We spent every morning enjoying coffee and every evening watching deer from the comfort of the porch. The yard was well kept, which was nice when we wanted to head down to the river. There was a fire pit with everything needed down near the river. The hosts even left some fishing rods and tackle if we wanted to fish a bit. We took a...

「The only thing I would say is try to get there before dark but it's an adorable place and the host was very sweet and helpful!」

「Harmony Hill was a great place to spend a quiet night after exploring the area. It was very clean, and the hosts Mary and Bill were kind and attentive. Breakfast was abundant and well prepared, and my husband's dietary needs were well attended to. We enjoyed!」

「Many amenities. Loved the free standing ice maker. Fully equipped kitchen. Loved the Sonos sound system. Emailed the host who responded even from Europe. Kids loved the play room adjacent to house. They enjoyed feeding the Koi fish in the pond and watching the frogs, tadpoles and salamanders. Beautiful views from the campfire out back. Would rent again. 5 stars.」

「Nice place overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was right down the road from our family. It was super convenient and just what we needed for the weekend.」

「Quaint little property with friendly owners. Well maintained in a beautiful part of the mountains.」

「The host was very informative about check-in and what to expect. The house was clean, cute, and very peaceful. Loved the view from the backyard. Definitely recommend!」

「We stayed at this property during the July 4th holiday and were disappointed with our experience. The home does not have air conditioning. While the listing may not advertise A/C, it would have been helpful to know this before arrival, especially during a heat wave with heat indexes exceeding 100F. When I contacted the owner, I was told the mountain air would cool the house at night. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. At 9:45 p.m. one evening, the temperature was still 81F, and the house...

「We loved staying here!!! Such a wonderful host & a peaceful experience! Highly recommend! 」

「It felt so good to just wash out our brains. We are halfway thru a 2 month road trip around the USA. so it was a good midway break.」

「I stayed here for a quick hiking weekend with my boys. The house was great. High ceilings, a fireplace, and lots of windows make a great main floor. The bedrooms are all comfortable and there is a great deck in a nice wooded setting. When we arrived, we had a few questions and the property manager was very helpful and made clear that we could call her any time if there were any issues. All around great experience.」
