「This was one of the most pleasant stays at a "hotel" I've ever experienced, I would have happily stayed more than one night if needed. The setting is lovely and peaceful. The room was quiet at night and our beds were comfortable. Our room faced the woods with a patio which we spent a lot of time on. The facility is on the older side, but everything was clean and organized and we had everything we needed. You can park close to your room and I love that it's only 2 stories with outside access...

「The menu for breakfast was fresh and varied enough for a free breakfast at any motel offering one and much better than some where we have stayed. The room was clean. At the start of our stay, the air conditioning/heating unit was not working properly and when the front desk was notified, they replied immediately and changed our room with absolutely no problem. In fact the desk guy helped move our stuff! He was super helpful and most courteous and his name was Jeff, so please make sure that...

The parking garage was not well lit. We did enjoy the easy, walkable access to shops and restaurants.」

「Parking was well lit, close and ample. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. While the hotel proper held beautiful elements of it's almost 200 year history, the rooms themselves were basic Hampton Inn variety. It didn't bother us in the least. Breakfast was about what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. I found the choice for kielbasa sausage as a meat option, versus bacon and breakfast sausage, a little odd for breakfast, but it was good. I wish they'd had grits or biscuits...
