「Great people friendly staff」

「The first night they shut the access to the motel at 8 o'clock. They were paving the main street in front of it. They did not warn you about it when I checked in and I didn't know how to come in the back by..」

「Love this place and all the rooms. Third visit for me and will continue to come back. Wine bar is so extra! And the breakfast was delightful! Highly recommend!」

「Great location and cute decor.」

「One of the most beautiful hotel rooms I’ve ever spent the night in! Loved the high ceilings, blackout curtains and ample lighting. There is a train that occasionally runs close to the hotel, but the sound machine and earplugs included in the room helped to provide a peaceful rest! Staff was very kind, from the front desk to the restaurant. Will definitely return!」

「Great proximity to UGA」

「The hotel was under construction and the elevator was down. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub. So, I can’t speak to that. However, my room was clean and really nice. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I slept wonderfully. The breakfast was great with many options for grab and go. I would highly recommend Wingate Athens.」

「Room was clean and nice. I would recommend bringing your own pillow. The pillow is provided were not the best, and didn’t have any support for my neck being too soft. Outside of that, everything else is great!」
