「can not fault the stay .. super clean .. super friendly .. great breakfast pub across the road is spot on .. the only problem was I didn't book a longer stay thanks for the stay highly recommend」

「The room was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had a lovely view over the hills. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely but we did have a substantial wait (45+ minutes) which we were not warned about. Overall a lovely place to stay, I would go there again.」

「The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.」

「A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.」

「The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended」

The hotel is well positioned and is good value for money, however the rooms are starting to feel a little tired with an example being our toilet seat being broken. Evening meals can be unpredictable, and breakfast during this stay was sparse with hot items looking like they’d been sitting there for some time and no white bread available.
