「Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.」

「The hotel could be amazing but unfortunately it is now dated and needs to be refurbished. The standard twin room does not have an overhead shower and the room was dated and shabby. There was no bottled water as stated either. The room was also very hot and they do not provide fans as standard. The pool is lovely but does need a little TLC and the showers in the changing rooms are extremely hot. As is the general temperature of the changing rooms. 「人気レストランが併設されているためか、スタッフの方が忙しそうでした。 でも、フレンドリーなのでそれは良かったです。 早めに到着し、荷物も預かってもらえました。 ただ、トイレにトイレットペーパーがなかったのと、タオルセットが1人分足りず、それらをリクエストしましたが、忙しくてなかなか持ってきてもらえず、待ちくだびれて取りにいきました。 コンセントはやや少なめ。 エアコンはなく、ポータブルヒーターがありました。パネルヒーターが作動していないようで、明け方ポータブルヒーターを使いました。 エレベーターはないですが、小さなスーツケースで2階なので問題はなかったです。 街中のとても便利な場所にあるのは良かったです。」

「Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. 「Stayed for 2 nights on our Welsh road trip. We were hugely impressed with this lovely little B&B. Beautifully appointed rooms, tastefully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. The breakfast box is such a great idea, allowing you to eat in or take it with you if you are heading for an early start. 「Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...
