Good hotel. Nice clean rooms, with windows that open properly! Very helpful staff. Car park is quite tight, but there is a big public one a couple hundred meters away. Online check-in seems unnecessary and causes a bit of confusion.

We stayed at the Lion last weekend and the owner Helen and her staff were super welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and we loved the extra strong shower pressure! We will be back.

Booked last minute, location fantastic, central with parking. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Owner Helen took the time to tell us about the building and all the renovations that have been done and ongoing. The public areas are beautiful, mix of old and new, really suits the place itself, all the staff were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat out. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a visit. We look forward to a very warm welcome in the future. 😊

Room was clean. Bathroom shower leaking and very small. Tea, coffee and microwave available. Would of liked a long mirror in the bedroom to dry hair ect as had to run extension lead to bathroom, not ideal. Staff are amazing, Parking very tight so to get a space pull up after the 11am check out. Breakfast choices wonderful, lots of choices and all fresh.
