「Lovely stay at the Bear. Food was excellent and the room clean. Staff were very helpful. Always enjoy my visit.」

「Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building, with yes a little patina around the edges. If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available. The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales, and a huge car park.」

「This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. Shower would also benefit from somewhere to put down toiletries etc. Restaurant excellent, lovely ambiance, food plentiful and very good although chips a little too crispy. Staff really welcoming, pleasant and very helpful. Car park good. Would...

「The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.」
