"We stayed at the Vernon Lodge 50 years ago during our honeymoon, and it hasn't lost any of its luster. Rooms are fresh and up to date, bed was comfortable. Staff was good except while I was pulling the car up to the front while checking out, my wife was struggling a little with the luggage trolley - two men at the desk but no one offered to help."
