「Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.」

「Everything was is great/new condition. Everything we needed and more. Plenty of pillows, cozy blankets, comfy mattresses. Host were so friendly and accommodating! Such a pretty view off the back patio, great location, 」

「Location was perfect - can walk to everything. Having garage parking is a huge plus. The unit was super cute. My only negative is that the bedding and pillows are low end. I would suggest nicer pillows - like goose down or down alternative that aren’t so big and stiff, and some nicer quality sheets. 」
