「It really was a great hotel, property was really great. The free breakfast was a huge plus. My only complaints are the rooms really need to be renovated.Very outdated. Rooms are very hot. And the bartenders need to be a lot faster. 20 min for a drink is crazy when there are only 8 people at the bar, consistently for 6 straight nights. Other than that the location is prime and my family had a great time. 」

「Lovely and unique stay surrounded by nature! Front desk staff was very helpful, but restaurant staff were not very attentive. One employee was sifting down and on his phone the entire time, did not come to take my order - when I even got up to ask him to order, he still didn’t get up to help me and I had to go up to the bar. Was not very friendly. 」

「We had a great stay at the W. It was a beautiful resort with helpful staff. There was some wear and tear on furniture in the room but didn’t impact the stay. It was definitely pricey but paying for the brand. Only thing I wish was that for families traveling the adult only pool is beautiful and we will there were some hours that kids could enjoy the space as well.」

「The Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo was incredible and truly exceeded our expectations. The resort was beautifully maintained, with breathtaking scenery at every turn. We especially loved the pools, the seamless boat rides to the beach club, and the consistently friendly and attentive staff. One of the highlights was enjoying our morning coffee at sunrise while listening to the howler monkeys—an unforgettable and uniquely Costa Rican experience.」
