"Everything was perfect. Staff, food, linens, location were amazing. Only problem? Mold on the wall between the toilet and shower. Pretty gross. Fix that problem and I would give them 10 out of 10"

"The Victoria hotel at matta house is a perfect small five-star hotel right across the street from the marina where there are multiple restaurants and shops. Rooms and service were excellent. Recommended to anyone."

"I was looking for a hotel close to the V&A Waterfront where I could walk to the waterfront and feel safe. This hotel fit the bill and I have to say it felt really safe walking the few blocks to the waterfront even when it was dark. Location wise, it was perfect for me.
The front desk staff was also excellent. I dealt with a number of them and they were uniformly helpful, friendly and professional.
The hotel also serves up a very good buffet breakfast.

"Excellent location across the road from the V&A Waterfront. Although we did eat breakfast once at the sister hotel (Victoria & Alfred) which is on the waterfront, we preferred the Manor House for its boutique feel and calm atmosphere.
The location is completely safe which enabled us to walk around without concern day or night.
