Had a lovely stay - staff were excellent and helped in every way they good. Food was spot on and room with a view and a half !! Table top mountain. A little out of the main area but Woodstock is cool and the in house transport company were excellent

For business, I had to checkout of the hotel, but I checked back in a few days later. My only issue with my second stay was the AC wasn't running cold so I was a little hot at night. Nothing too bad though. The cleaning staff was great too. My second stay was just as enjoyable as the first. I needed an airport transfer so I settled on a time, when I went to check with the transfer company, the told me it would be better to leave earlier due to intense traffic. I'm so glad they informed me so I could change the leave time.

Pleasant stay

Very pleasant stay. Hotel is centrally located and close to the waterfront. Staff is welcoming and friendly. The only downside was you have to pay for parking R60 per night.

Great place to stay in Cape Town

Staff made us feel very welcome. Stored our bags while we went touring. Great room service. Airport shuttle reasonable. Room safe didn’t work so they upgraded us. Would definitely stay again.

Checking in was super easy and the front desk staff was very friendly. I got my warm cookie and went to my room. The room was decent. I wish there was an outlet besides the bed, but bring a USB-A if you want to charge your devices bedside. The room was cold and the shower was hot. Which made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast had a large variety of items, made to order eggs and pancakes. The staff, I can't say how much I loved the staff. Very professional, they remembered me from day to day, even my coffee order overall adding to the great stay i had at the hotel. The hotel is located inside of another building with some restaurants and shops. It's also located in what appeared to be an industrial area. So access to anything outside of catching a rideshare/taxi/Uber is necessary. The airport transfer needs to be scheduled before hand which they seem to be pretty flexible and accommodating. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

I was extremely happy with this hotel. The room was excellent, the food was great and the Service was awesome. Please book all your tours with Mr.Abrahams, he made my stay a whole lot easier, he's the life off this hotel and I will definitely go back here because off him. Maliq was very helpful and Anieka in housekeeping was awesome. This is my new found family at Double Tree Cape Town.

Room not clean and slow restaurant service.

Room was standard looking. Floor was not swept on first day, then realized a dirty towel was on the rack. When I talked to the front desk they said sorry but no solution to rectify it. I then had to phone down to get my towel replaced. Next day, the floor was still not swept with debris like cereal on the floor. Window howled for the wind as wouldn’t seal, we had to put a bag around the seal to stop it. Service at the restaurant in the evening was very slow, had to keep asking for things like condiments or cutlery. They forgot one person’s meal completely. Morning breakfast was good and so was the service. No real common area to play games with friends. Location was good with a small convenience store nearby. Shuttle service was good. Room was not to standard for the price. Would not stay here again.
