"The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from oita train station. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was great. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on property was great. The rooms was clean and tidy. The only drawback was the bathroom, is a bit tiny. However, would definitely stay there again."

"Nice clean and big room, 4 private baths, and delicious meals. You can choose your yukata so that it feels more personal. A great price for a ryokan in a secluded setting. Hosts were very welcoming as well. Please refer to their website if you have questions such as arranging their shuttle service. Highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay!"
Dormy Inn Oita Hot Springs

"Dormy Inn is one of my favorites whenever I could afford it is my choice of hotel to stay. Except sometimes their hotel is located a bit further away from train station as my main mode of transportation. Dormy Inn Oita is located right next to Oita station. Their staffs were very friendly. It was a bit rain and as we got umbrella for they day and it was dripping when we brought it back but staff was no problem and grab it from me with smiles. The 2-bed room we stayed was roomy enough for us. Public bath was excellent which was another reason I picked Dormy. Night noodles was good and a good add to have a sweet dream. "

" > We had a great stay here while traveling with my wife and son. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived on New Year’s Eve and couldn’t find any restaurants open, but the owner helped us by drawing a handwritten map and explaining everything clearly — it was really thoughtful. > > The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable, with a classic Western–Japanese style. One of the highlights was the observatory. The owner gave us a tour and showed us the planets, which was absolutely amazing and something our family will never forget. > > Highly recommended!"
