"Cozy cabin in the woods surrounded by birch trees. Quiet and serene location and easy to get to Palmer and Wasilla. Only a short drive to Hatcher Pass and the historic Independence Gold Mine and all the hiking trails in the area. Definitely an incredible experience to see the old mining camp in the surreal and beautiful landscape above tree line. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had all the kitchen supplies needed to make dinner and breakfasts there. Plenty of towels were nice after getting damp in the snow and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was responsive about an issue and we would definitely stay again. I stayed with my teen son and we both really enjoyed it."
