"Me and a few friends stayed to watch the eclipse. We loved the location - close enough to town to get essentials but in a quiet neighborhood. We watched the eclipse sunset over the lake and it was so beautiful! We loved watching the birds on the property. Our only qualm was the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so it got a little humid"

"This property had plenty of room for our family. Although the main portion of the house is not air conditioned, the bedrooms all had room air conditioners. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. The property between the house and the lake isn't big, but it's very nicely shaded and we spent a lot of time out there. The kids loved the fishing. The cleanliness of the property was an issue. Carpets had crumbs and were dirty. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well. The house clearly had not been dusted...

"The property is cozy with 2 bedrooms and lots of light filled areas to hang out. The property is very recently renovated and everything is clean and new. The setting sun gives a great show every night over the lake. The location is easy driving to downtown Jamestown which has some nice coffee (Crown Roasters) and restaurants."

Smoke detector in ceiling blinked all night. Lobby smelled like smoke and must. Room across the hall was missing a door handle. Overall not bad for the price of the stay"

"I reserved this place for the solar eclipse weekend months before. There were no reviews yet as it was a new listing, but I took a risk. I reached out to owner after reservation never heard anything. About a month out, I double checked to make sure I had a reservation since I hadn’t heard anything, and I did. "We visited on a very cold winter weekend. The apartment was freezing when we got there but we were soon able to warm it up and enjoy. Accidentally blew a fuse with the space heater and kitchen appliances but the owner took care of it right away. Ample street parking, short drive from downtown. Highly recommend the National Comedy Museum!"

"My brother and I made this reservation to honor our father who passed away in in 2021. The cabin was perfect because of his love for the outdoors including its location nestled in a quiet cove.
