"We thought this hotel was perfect for our first trip to Tokyo. It was in a great location, easily accessible by train (station was a 5 min walk), and it was surrounded by many restaurants. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. Our only complaints were that there wasn’t a bar in the lobby as we could have used it after a long day of walking and we thought the breakfast buffet was was overpriced for what was offered (I think we paid $44 Cdn, which is more that most hotels of any level). Overall though, great location, clean room with good size beds, we would definitely recommend this to any other travellers."
Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

"Although I personally am not a fan of the Kabukicho area (too busy!) this hotel offered a pleasant and serene stay despite the madness outside. The room was very functional and incredibly clean and well organized. It was also very well situated to the main Shinjuku station and had a vast array of restaurants and activities to explore. Great hotel!"

"It is a nice, small and basic place to stay. The breakfast was decent. I spent a small fortune on Taxi rides so learn the subway system or be prepared. It is close to Tokyo Tower but that is about it as far as tourist attractions go. I would return but probably a more central location like Shinjuku would be better and save taxi money."

"We had a lovely stay. The room was on the smaller side, but the hotel was conveniently located with easy access to transport. The rooftop bar was great and breakfast was plentiful with a great variety to choose from. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great base for exploring the area. Thank you"
