Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks

"We stayed at this property about 15 years ago when it was Tan Tara and was getting a bit long in the tooth. Margaritaville has freshed up a lot of the property. Bathrooms looked new, new floors in the rooms, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful and when our room was not available for the 3rd night, Michael at the front desk got us an upgrade to a lakeside suite. Very nice! I also played golf at the Oaks/Margaritaville course and it was in nice condition. We were there mid October, so some of the restaurants were closed but we went to Landsharks three times, ordering different food each time and were pleased with the variety of the menu and drinks. Looking forward to returning in season and enjoying the bar by the pool. Highly recommended."

"First floor smelled and felt super damp and humid and musty but overall hotel was great and staying on other floors is great my family was on upper floor and it was great. Staff was AMAZING! Location is perfect"
