"Excellent place to stay in Taormina.. it was very modern like Miami Vice. It was across the street about 100ft away from the main building. I only wished we would have stayed in the old hotel which looked much cooler.. we parked up the street for €25 a day saved us €20 a day.. don’t forget to stop at the coop, which is the grocery store. Will also save you a ton of money.. next door is a laundromat, which was perfect. Just watch out and ask for the price first before doing your laundry.. The balcony was also really nice"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Splendid and were sad to leave our beautiful room and the amazingly kind and helpful staff. Ivana was especially helpful, but we enjoyed everyone. When my fiancé required medical attention, they called a doctor for him. The room was small but lovely, especially the balcony with the gorgeous view! The location was great. We can’t wait to return. "

"Air conditioning was very dated and seemed pretty weak- and it wasn’t that hot when we stayed there in early October. Also TVs were small for room size and the streaming services didn’t really work effectively because of limitations of the WiFi system. "Everything was over the top! I have been to many Four Seasons properties in Europe. Not only they kept the standards of the hotel chain, this was the best one! Breakfast was amazing, the spa was divine and honestly except the pool being a little too small. Everything was just perfect."
