Very nice hotel and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The pool is incredible - you have to reserve in advance and the times did not seem so flexible (only one hour in the mornings), but this could have been because we were a family of four. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant at dinner had very nice food - could maybe use a bit more variety on the menu (eg no pasta dishes was a bit of a surprise). On the whole, very nice place for relaxation!

I spent in Villa Itra four days with my family for holidays reason. I found the hotel very nice, the room was very big and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and plentiful . I found the ratio cost/result for the hotel a little too high.

The pool is added charge and is part of the wellness retreat, the heated pool and hot tub were cold to cool at best. A bit disappointed. Dinner onsite was very good.

We stayed two nights at the end of June. This hotel is in a very convenient location because it is central. It's close to Catania, Taormina and Mt Etna - all easily reachable within half an hour or so. It was an okay stay, but definitely not 4-star, in retrospect. The pool was an experience - it's obviously a source of additional income for the hotel so it's always crowded with non-guests. This goes for the parking, as well. It's a nightmare. Pluses: Convenient location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Minuses: Pool and parking. Overall, it served us well.

The room was dirty so was the surrounding areas. The bed was comfortable. The hotel needs a refresh of paint on the walls and a few repair as many things were broken or really old. This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel that Expedia should advertised as such but rather a 2-3 stars.

They have problem with AC big problem.My room was with out Ac they try change 3 times finally they give us 2 rooms separate but still was really warm and Ac make very loud noise. I have booked for 1 double bed and 2 single. But there was only 1 double bed and 1 single in the room. When I went to the reception the next day to query, the lady at the reception the lady was rude and told me why I did not mentioned this on my arrival day one. I told her day one I was tired and did not take notice and thought that the sofa bed can open and turn into 2. There was two Tv's only one was working. Some of the lights was not working in the room 129. I did not bother to report it as I had a bad experience at the reception. However, the staff at the restaurant and room cleaners were friendly. The outdoor swimming was closed and we wanted to use the indoor swimming pool 11th June, we was told that there is no water. Overall a bad experience.

2 star rating at best. Outdated!

This hotel is outdated and overpriced without providing the basic amenities. We checked in around 8pm to a junior suit for 4 people. Once checked in realized, they have no tea and coffee facilities in room nor a iron. The hotel staff confirmed the basics are not included in the expensive apartment. I was shocked that they do not even provide glasses for drinks unless you request from the bar. If you need clothes ironed, you need to drag your clothes to reception and wait 30mins until they set up a room with a ancient iron to use. The hairdryer within the bathrooms was from the 60's, plastic non usable handheld hoover looking pipes.

Eerder een congres-hotel an spa dan een regulier hotel. In prachtige staat. Ik was er voor mijn werk (een cursus) en ervaarde zeer vriendelijk en bereidwillig personeel met klaarzetten van een demo-voertuig. Ook: grote kamer met dakterras, sanitair uitstekend en heerlijk gedineerd in het hotel-restaurant

Wir wissen nicht genau, was wir von diesem Hotel halten sollen. Es war sauber, die Mitarbeiter alle Hilfsbereit, der Shuttleservice hat einwandfrei geklappt und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, bis auf Möbel auf der Terrasse, auch die umliegenden Balkone hatten keine Gartenmöbel, sodass man draußen nicht sitzen konnte. Der Lüfter des Spabereiches lief durchgehend auf der weitläufigen Terrasse, wo man sowieso keine Privatsphäre hatte. Das Zimmer war dunkel eingerichtet, da es nur Stehlampen gab. Der Spabereich und auch die angebotene Massage hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Wir haben nicht einmal die Salzmassage bekommen, welche wir vorab gebucht hatten. Der Poolbereich ist schön und man bekommt Handtücher. Auch die Preise der Poolbar sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant hat keine Riesenauswahl, sodass man nach ein paar Tagen gut und gern im Ort nach anderen Restaurants guckt. Wir hatten trotzdem einen wundervollen Urlaub!!

Hotel molto bello e situato sotto l'Etna. La camera al terzo piano sono prive di oscuranti ed hanno molte finestre. Alle 5 di mattina entra luce e sincermente lo trovo fuori luogo. Per doccia solo.vasca senza box si allaga tutto. Ristorante buono.

Väldigt slitet hotell. Det hade nog sina glansdagar för ett bra tag sedan. Dåligt underhållet. Slitet. Rummet var dåligt städat. Spindelnät i hörnen. Fin, men smutsig balkong, helt utan möbler. Den gick med andra ord inte att nyttja. Strömmen gick när vi satte på sänglampan. Dom försökte lösa det, men uttaget hade brunnit. Personalen var inte särskilt trevlig eller tillmötesgående. Många av dom kunde ingen engelska alls.
