「Oven didn't work, upper front door hinge very loose, bathroom fan without cover and motor is filthy! Won't ever stay again.」

「Nice place, It was a warmer day for the Tahoe area, so the chalet was quite warm when we checked in, late afternoon, after look for the a/c control in realized there was no a/c. After opening the windows and get the provided electric fans, the building soon cooled off. In fact the outside air soon cooled to the point in need to close the windows. No a/c was actually needed.Nice visit to the area」

「We enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive to questions」

「Peaceful, lots of sun, end of culdesac, large deck. Comfortable cabin feel. 」

「The property is good but honestly it is old and need to be renovated. 」

「We had a great time.」

「Lots of space in the house. Deck and family room are excellent for toddlers, very safe and spacious. Excellent rooms and beds. Very clean. We had a great stay and highly recommend. We stayed in summer and enjoyed fishing/swimming in the lake and river rafting. But I am sure the location is perfect in the winter as well for skiing.」

「Brandon the host is really responsive, as is the property management company (Evolve). Location is really amazing -- the neighborhood is great but you are super close to several ski mountains and fun towns like Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village. Rooms are great, most of them have their own bathroom and there's a nice wraparound deck, and the basement room is a good kids area plus there is access to the hot tub there. Also, the gas fireplaces churns out the heat on a cold day for sure...

「ZERO stars for accuracy of listing and TWENTY stars for the setting and view. This property was billed as luxurious.... in fact it is in the name of the listing. The grounds were amazing, the view spectacular.... the problem is that the house was very run down, and actually dangerous. Many, many issues. At the very least, luxury needs to be stricken from the description.」

「Cute rustic place! We had a great time.」

「Staff was great, very clean, location is very good. Will come back for sure.」

「Beautiful location」

「The staff was super friendly, very accommodating, old-fashioned nostalgic, feel comfortable bed decent bathroom and I love that it’s all downstairs. Location is awesome. I WILL BE BACK」

「During our stay, our first room had an insect problem, and we were bitten while staying in it. The staff responded courteously and moved us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the replacement room had serious problems of its own: the lighting did not work properly, leaving the room very dark, and the electrical outlet directly next to the bed was visibly burned. Because of these conditions, we will not be returning to this place.」

「This hotel is a gem for the price, location, amenities and staff. I keep returning and am always glad I did.」
